Tomas Navarrete Gutierrez
Vice President, Board Member
Tomas has extensive experience in LCA software development and open-source tooling. He actively contributes to the development of Brightway ecosystem, and is also the head of the Life Cycle Sustainability Analysis Group at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) as well as the board member of the Bonsai initiative.
Karin Treyer
Board Member
Karin brings deep expertise in life cycle assessment of energy technologies, and is also a senior researcher in the laboratory of energy systems analysis at Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI).
João Gonçalves
Board Member
João is an experienced expert in open-source software development. He used to lead the software engineering team at ecoinvent, and is also the co-founder of Cauldron.
Mélanie Douziech
Board Member
Mélanie is specialized in the LCA of agriculture and food sector, social LCA as well as the ecotoxicity impact assessment. She is currently the head of the Life Cycle Assessment group at Agroscope.
Manuel Klarmann
Board Member
Manuel combines entrepreneurial experience with technical knowledge of LCA and sustainability assessment. He is the founder and CEO of Eaternity and brings expertise in food sustainability assessment, tool development and carbon footprinting.
Xiaojin Zhang
Director
Xiaojin brings deep expertise in conducting LCA in the energy and building sector using tools from the Brightway ecosystem. She is dedicated to advancing transparent, reproducible sustainability analysis through open-source development and community collaboration. She is currently responsible for the daily operation of DdS.
